With a history dating back to the 1970s, ‘The Banana’ is the latest brand to become popular in the Indian market.
It’s also been linked to a number of health problems including cancer, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, diabetes and osteoarthritis.
‘The banana’ is also linked to the death of a 15-year-old boy from a suspected case of cancer, who died from cancer treatment.
‘It’s a brand that has a history of being associated with various health issues that are being reported around the world, particularly with regard to cancer,’ explained Dr. Dharamshala.
‘But that’s just one of many possible reasons for the association, and this is just one case.
So the more we learn about the brand, the more this will hopefully be a cause for concern.’
‘I’m not going to give the name of the company or the brand of the product, because I don’t want to scare anyone,’ Dr.
Dharamthala said.
‘I just want to make sure people understand what they’re getting into.
If it’s not something that we’re aware of, we’ll take a very careful look and make sure that it is something that is safe and it’s really something that will benefit the community.’
In a statement, Dr. Gopal Singh, president of the Indian Association of Botanists, said: ‘While it is possible that the product is linked to an increase in cases of cancer and cardiovascular disease among people who consume it, there is no evidence to suggest this is the case.
We would like to reassure the public that the banana product is completely safe and does not cause any health concerns.’
‘The company has not been contacted for comment,’ Singh said.
