There’s a lot of skepticism among herbalists about the safety of herbs and what they’re actually doing to their bodies.
So, here’s a look at some common misconceptions.
I’m too old to be using herbal medicine.
There’s no need to worry about being too old for your herbal remedies.
While there’s a good reason why some herbal medicines are marketed to adults, there’s also a good one for kids.
The safest way to take herbal medicines is to be older than 65.
That’s why most of us take a multivitamin, which contains vitamin D3 and D2, along with vitamin E. Your body absorbs those vitamins as they come in from food and supplements, and if you’re over 65, you should take a vitamin D supplement at least once a week, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The other recommended vitamins and minerals are zinc, magnesium, copper, and selenium.
If you’re too young to take a supplement, try taking vitamin B12 or vitamin B6.
I’ve been using the wrong herbal medicine for years.
Some people believe that because they’re too old, they can’t possibly have a chronic disease like heart disease or high blood pressure.
They believe that herbs are bad for you and that you should never use them.
According to the CDC, heart disease and hypertension are linked to use of herbs in general, and there are no health benefits to herbs for these conditions.
I used to be able to do things with my herbs.
But, just like any other medicine, herbs aren’t perfect.
There’s always room for improvement.
For example, if you want to get rid of colds and flu symptoms, you’ll probably need to increase the amount of your natural, nonprescription pain relievers.
It’s not as simple as adding an extra pill to your daily dosage.
But, if the natural remedies you’ve been taking for years don’t work, you might be better off trying something different.
I can’t tolerate herbs.
Hemp, the most popular medicinal plant in China, has been around for millennia, but there’s some skepticism about its ability to be a safe alternative to prescription drugs.
The American Medical Association warns that hemp may be linked to a host of medical conditions, including allergies, arthritis, and depression.
The CDC says it’s still unknown if hemp can be a natural treatment for people with certain conditions.
If it’s a medical condition that’s related to your allergies, your doctor might recommend alternative remedies, such as using a probiotic.
But if it’s not related to an allergy, there might be no need for a probiotics.
So far, there is no evidence that hemp can treat depression, anxiety, or any other health condition.
I shouldn’t be taking my herbs out of the house.
The best way to avoid herb allergies is to never use herb extracts in the home.
The best way is to take only a few essential oils and a small amount of essential oils from your plants.
And, for those who have allergies, you may want to avoid the herb oil capsules and spray that many times a day.
But don’t worry, there are ways to get your herbals out of your home safely, too.
